The main source for music sheets (and some texts, too) was PWM - Polskie Wydawnictwo Muzyczne (Polish Music Edition) and Wydawnictwo Muzyczne Triangiel. We have used, among others, the following books:

  1. Kolędy polskie - Średniowiecze i wiek XVI (PAX 1966)
  2. Polskie pieśni pasyjne - Średniowiecze i wiek XVI (PAX 1977)
  3. Cantica Selecta Musices Sacrae in Polonia (K.T. Barwicki 1928)
  4. Arcydzieła polskiego średniowiecza (TKG 1994)
  5. 6 polskich pieśni miłosnych z XVII wieku (TKG 1993)
  6. Mikołaj Gomółka - Melodie na psałterz polski (PWM 1966)
  7. Jan Kochanowski - Psałterz Dawidów cz. 5 (Wydawnictwo PAN 1990)
  8. Wojciech Długoraj - fantazje i willanelle (PWM 1964)
  9. Diomedes Cato (PWM ?)
10. Musica antiqua polonica - Anthology, The Renaissance 1 - Motet (PWM, Kraków 1993)
11. Musica antiqua polonica - Anthology, The Renaissance 2 - Mass (PWM)

[#] indicates that the piece is very popular and can be found in many sources
[m] means that the piece was taken from handwritten score (the early copying machines required originals on transparent or semi-transparent paper, so many choir conductors in Poland were forced to rewrite the music on such media before copying).
If the piece appears in two or more publications, the first number indicates the source that the MIDI file was actually sequenced from.

The list is far from complete, but will be updated over time.
